I’ve got a lot coming up in February! Thought I’d share!

iO Graduation Shows

Every Sunday until 2/22 7- 10pm

@ iO’s Del Close Theater

1501 N Kingsbury St

After over a year of classes at iO, I’m finally graduating! Each class gets two half hour slots to perform completely improvised sets. We are using forms that we created in class and should be having a blast 🙂 We are on the 4th week of an 8 week run. My class has the 8pm and 8:30pm slot. Here’s the Facebook event page!

Uspeakable: Say What?!?

Every Friday in February (2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27) 7:30pm
@ The Second City Training Center, Donny’s Skybox Theater
1608 N Wells St
Two former classmates of mine asked me to perform in their own, original sketch show! It’s a really fun show that includes strong African-American voices and a diverse range of humor! I’m honored to be a part of it! Here’s a link to the Facebook event page!

Verbatim Verboten
Saturday 2/7 8pm
@ The Lincoln Loft
3036 N. Lincoln Avenue
I was in the first run of this production back at the WIP Theater in Edison Park and I truly adore it. It’s staged readings of real transcripts that amount to a hyper-intelligent, funny, dramatic, scandalous, and TRUE show.I am in it again this one night only at the Lincoln Loft ^_^ I’m super-pumped for it! Here’s the Facebook event page.

Feminine Comique Grad Show
Wednesday 2/11 7pm
@ The Lincoln Loft
3036 N. Lincoln Avenue
These past few weeks I took a short course on stand-up for women! It’s been an amazing boost for my writing and performance. We’re having a class show and every student gets 5 minutes to make the audience laugh 🙂  Here’s a link to the event page!
Second City Conservatory 5 Show
Sunday 2/22 6pm
@ The Second City Training Center, Donny’s Skybox Theater
1608 N Wells St
I’m currently in level 5 of Second City’s conservatory program, training to be professionally funny. We are in the process of generating material for our final revue and this show will serve as a testing ground for some sketches we’ve created through improvisation during class.
