I’ve had so little sleep in the past three days that I feel like I, myself, am a rip in the time-space continuum. Or, maybe that’s just a combination of the random special on wormholes they showed on the plane + all I learned about making dreadlocks + my lovely conversation with a physics phd candidate. Yes, I utilize my travel time in the best ways possible.
At any rate, I would just like to take a moment to proclaim that if you ever have a potential transfer through Narita Airport, take it! You might be like, “Aw, man, come on, I love direct flights because they don’t leave me as wickedly sleep deprived and feeling like my eyes are sand dunes and I’m gonna hurl” And you’d be right, in a way. However, if you stop over in Narita, you can pick up GREEN TEA KIT KATS. Yes, it makes up for all the wrongs in the world.
Having arrived in Taipei’s airport, I totally pride myself on sidestepping the soliciting taxi cab drivers who try to waylay you and get you to pay 1000 NTD when you can get a bus to the city for 140 NTD! HA! FTW!
Okay, I am clearly much in need of sleep. Good night, TAIPEI!
