I watched the fireworks around Taipei 101 on New Year’s Eve ^_^ It was a special celebration since the ROC is 100 years old. It was really weird signing all my documents as occurring in the year 99, and it’s still weird signing them as the year 100…
Anyway, there’s a lot of special, centennial events going on, and the fireworks kicked them off!
I was going to go all the way downtown to watch the fireworks, but the crowd activated my latent claustrophobia, so instead I decided to just hike it back up to the river near my apartment in Shilin ^_^
