Dawn Xiana Moon is a bellydancer, musician, actor, and the founder and producer/director of Raks Geek, Chicago’s premiere bellydance, flow arts, and fire company. It’s a cool group that combines bellydancing and firespinning with geek themes! Not only is Dawn an expert bellydancer, she’s also an accomplished musician with an album available on iTunes, and a talented actor! In this episode we chat about how she found bellydancing, her love of geek culture and travel, her musical influences, and her heritage. Plus, I threw in some clips of Raks Geek performing!
